The Hawai i Pacific Health Medical Group is seeking an experienced Pediatric Hospitalist at Kapi olani Medical Center for Women & Children.
The Hawai i Pacific Health Medical Group is comprised of over 800 employed physicians and advanced practice providers. Together with our four medical centers (Kapi olani, Pali Momi, Straub, and Wilcox) and more than 50 convenient clinic locations statewide, our nonprofit health system is one of the state s largest health care providers. Our network of physicians and specialists work together to provide a distinctive and effective model of coordinated care for maintaining the health and wellness of our patients.
Kapi olani Medical Center for Women and Children is the premier pediatric hospital in Hawai i, a state-of-the-art tertiary medical center with established services supported by a wide spectrum of pediatric subspecialties. It is a major teaching hospital affiliated with the University of Hawai i, John A. Burns School of Medicine. This is a full-time position with both academic and clinical responsibilities. An ideal candidate will be an experienced bedside clinician, educator and/or have experience in quality improvement or research, and be comfortable with medically complex and high acuity patients. Located on the island of O ahu.
Minimum qualifications: graduate of an approved residency program in Pediatrics. Candidate must be board certified or eligible for certification in Pediatrics. Candidates should be eligible to obtain a medical license in the State of Hawai i.
Besides the clinical responsibilities, participation in research and teaching through the University of Hawai i, John A. Burns School of Medicine is highly encouraged.
