Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Children’s Hospital seeks an exceptional Pediatric Hospitalist to join our practice. This in-house position offers diverse clinical experience caring for a wide range of pediatric inpatients and well newborns.

Providing comprehensive medical, surgical, and emergency care to the children, teenagers, and young adults of Central Florida for more than 30 years, Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children is a nationally recognized and trusted name in children’s healthcare. Located on the downtown Orlando campus, the 156-bed hospital’s expert and compassionate team of caregivers provides award-winning care in more than 30 pediatric specialties in an environment built just for kids and delivered by a comprehensive staff that includes pediatric subspecialty physicians and a nursing team that is “Magnet” recognized for excellence in patient care.
Specialty areas include heart care, cancer and blood disorders, neuroscience, orthopedics, endocrinology and diabetes, nephrology, digestive health, and nutrition. Its numerous centers include subspecialty clinics and programs that focus on specific diseases and disorders affecting children, including a Level 4 Epilepsy Center, the highest rating by the National Association of Epilepsy Centers. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive inpatient care across non-teaching and teaching services
- Care for newborns (excluding delivery room duties)
- Participate in hospital administration, quality improvement, practice management, research, and community outreach
- On-site coverage during days and evenings, with home calls from midnight to 7 am
- 185-bed tertiary-care children's hospital in Orlando, FL
- Primary teaching site for Orlando Health Pediatric Residency Program
- Central Florida's only Pediatric Level 1 Trauma Center
- Upcoming Pediatric Hospital Medicine fellowship (Summer 2026)
- Fully integrated electronic medical record system. (Epic)
- Education: M.D., D.O.
- Completion of an ACGME or AOA Pediatric Residency
- Pediatric Hospital Medicine (PHM) Fellowship - Not Required
- Board Certified or Board-Eligible by the American Board of Pediatrics (ABP) in Pediatric Hospital Medicine *Preferred, Not Required*
- Unrestricted FL Medical License (or the ability to obtain one) and DEA
