Saint Alphonsus Medical Group seeks a BC/BE Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist to become part of aphysician led 650 provider multi-specialty group with a multi-disciplinary team approach to patient care.
The selected candidate will join three physicians, one clinical Psychologist and recruitment for additional providers is underway. Part of a multi-specialty network of 70 Saint Alphonsus Medical Group Primary Care Clinics and Specialty Clinics. Enjoy a spacious, recently renovated clinic setting.Neighboring inpatient services at Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center.
Saint Alphonsus is a principal provider of evidence-based, interdisciplinary behavioral health services within the region. Our outpatient practice offers comprehensive evaluation and treatment for most emotional and interpersonal problems for adolescents, children, and adults. Psychotherapeutic and psychopharmacologic interventions are provided via a multidisciplinary treatment team.
The schedule for this opportunity is a traditional workweek, Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm with 34 patient contact hours per week. There are no call responsibilities.
The ideal candidate will possess the ability to assess and treat a diverse child and adolescent outpatient population with a wide variety of mental health disorders, the ability to work well with a collegial, multidisciplinary team and the desire to make a real difference in the lives of our patients and their families.

Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree
- Successful completion of an accredited ACGME/AOA psychiatry residency program
- Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship training required
- Board certification through the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN) or the American Osteopathic Board of Neurology and Psychiatry (AOBNP) – or obtain such certification within 3 years of employment
- Obtain Idaho medical licensure and Medical Staff privileges at SARMC
- Valid controlled substance registration with Board of Pharmacy and DEA
