Psychiatry Physician Job with Veterans Health Administration in Little Rock, AR

The Community Based Outpatient Center Mental Health Clinics within the Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System (CAVHS), near the beautiful Ozark Mountains, is seeking a full-time, board certified Mental Health Medical Director – Psychiatrist to oversee all clinical operations within the CBOCs. We are fully committed to providing top quality medical care by serving and honoring America’s Veterans.

Candidate must possess MD/DO from an accredited institution, have completed residency training to board certification, and possess an active, current, unrestricted license in any U.S. State or territory.

Highlights of this opportunity:

• Potential starting base salary range: $250,000 - $306,600
• Daily schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm
• Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP) – Assistance with payment of outstanding medical school loans up to $200K over 5 years, if approved.
• Relocation/Recruitment Sign-On Bonus eligible for highly qualified applicants.
• Paid Time Off: 50–55 days per year (26 days of annual leave, 13 days of sick leave, 11 paid Federal holidays, and possible 5 days paid for CME)
• No Physician Employment Contract and no significant restriction on moonlighting
