West Virginia University School of Medicine and the Department of Medicine seek physicians for Pulmonary / Critical Care Medicine (ranks available: Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor).
The successful candidates will be expected to practice in Morgantown, WV. (Depending on operational needs, a successful candidate may also be assigned to provide services at additional worksites in West Virginia and Pennsylvania. In such instances, travel would be anticipated and expected to fulfill said duties at these additional sites).
The successful candidate will practice in the areas of Pulmonary/Critical Care/Sleep Medicine. In addition to providing excellent patient care, the successful candidate will also be actively involved in the teaching of medical students, residents, and fellows. Clinical interest should include obstructive airways disease, interstitial lung disease, pulmonary hypertension, sleep, infectious lung disease or cystic fibrosis.
Qualifications: applicants must have a MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent and be eligible for state medical license. Successful candidates must be board certified or eligible in Pulmonary Diseases and Critical Care Medicine. All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment. Immigration support may be available.
