Columbus Regional Health Physicians has an excellent full-time day shift employment opportunity for an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) who will assist the Critical Care Physician in coverage of the Critical Care and Pulmonology Services.
Position is 100% Outpatient.
As an Advanced Practice Provider with Columbus Regional Health Physicians, you join a network encompassing many specialties. You will also receive administrative support, allowing you to focus on patient care and service.
Details of the position:
The expectation would be for the APP who will work as part of the Lung Institute team in seeing ambulatory (clinic only) patients….The expectation would be for the APP to work collaboratively with the Pulmonary/Critical Care physician to support their panel of patients.

- Full-Time (40 hours) OUTPATIENT ONLY
- 8am - 5pm
- No call rotation or weekend coverage
- Nights are covered by a separate, dedicated, in-house APP team
- Procedures are not required
- The ideal candidate will have prior inpatient experience, preferentially with critical care and/or pulmonology experience.
- At least one year of experience in an inpatient setting
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire
- To be hired as a Nurse Practitioner:
- Master's Degree in Nursing
- Current RN license in the state of Indiana
- Active unlimited license from the IPLA State Board of Nursing for Advanced Practical Nursing
- To be hired as a Physician Assistant:
- Graduate of an approved Physician Assistant Training program
- Unlimited Physician Assistant license from the Indiana Medical Licensing Board
