Avera Medical Group Pulmonary & Sleep Medicine is seeking a BE/BC sleep-trained pulmonologist physician to join a group 11 physicians in a growing inpatient and outpatient practice along with 5 advanced practice providers. Must be fellowship trained in sleep
- Clinic location is adjacent to Avera McKennan Hospital
- One physician takes home call on weeknights. Weekend coverage includes 1 physician on Pulmonary Service and another physician on Intensivist service.
- Ability to do 100% Pulmonary/Critical Care and Sleep Medicine
- 6 weeks’ vacation
- 5 administrative days following each 7-day ICU rotation
- 8-bed Sleep Diagnostic Center, active home sleep apnea testing program
- State-of-the-art Imaging Center with X-Ray, CT, MRI, and PET/CT
- 28-bed ICU and 16-bed Pulmonary Acute Care Unit,
- 16 bed hybrid Neuro ICU/Neuro Acute Unit covered by a dedicated Neuro Critical Care Boarded Neuro Intensivists
- Hospitalists and eICU coverage in the evenings
- Provide pulmonary inpatient service to Avera Heart Hospital of South Dakota
- Faculty opportunity in the Internal Medicine Department of the University of South Dakota
- Active lung cancer screening program

- Weekly Lung Tumor Board
