MaineGeneral Medical Center in Augusta, Maine is actively seeking a board certified or board eligible Pulmonologist/Intensivist . In this role, you will be part of a dynamic team alongside three other Pulmonologists, dedicated to providing specialized care in our 16-bed Critical Care Unit. Additionally, this position offers the opportunity to engage in outpatient clinic work. While it is not mandatory, there is also the option to explore sleep medicine.
At MaineGeneral, we have a robust Hospitalist service, ensuring that your call responsibilities are limited to "consultant and ICU only." We pride ourselves on having an interventional pulmonary program, a thriving cancer center, and a collaborative approach to lung cancer care. Complementing this, we maintain an active acute care general surgery team, a board-certified thoracic surgeon, and two vascular surgeons.
