Written Orders: The PA may write orders according to delineated approval by the Medical Executive Committee and the board of trustees in accordance with the PA prescription regulations of the state, and may renew or rewrite orders previously approved by the supervisory physician.
Verbal Orders: The PA is authorized to give verbal orders which need to be co-signed within 24 hours by the supervising physician.
Education: A graduate of an AMA-recognized physician assistant training program that is accredited by the Accreditation Review Commission or Education for Physician Assistant.
Licensure: The PA must be a graduate of an AMA recognized PA training Program and must obtain a State Physician Assistant License required.
Working Conditions, Physical Environment and/or Safety Requirements: Normal office setting.Attends all related safety training and all other training programs as required by outside regulatory agencies and/or audits.Rectifies any specific job-related hazards for all areas of responsibility through appropriate measures.
