Trauma, Acute Care Surgeon
The Medical College of Wisconsin, Division of Trauma and Acute Care Surgery has an immediate opening for two acute care surgeons at our largest affiliated community hospital, Froedtert Menomonee Falls. We are initiating an Acute Care Surgery program with four surgeons that will also foster the growth of a new general surgical practice. This position is being recruited at the Assistant or Associate Professor level.

Froedtert Menomonee Falls (FMF) Hospital
FMF is a Community based hospital that has 150 beds. It is a full-service Level III trauma Center with a 14 bed ICU, 10 operating rooms, emergency room, large PCP base and general surgical clinic. The hospital has been ranked No.2 out of 82 participating complex teaching medical centers in the 2019 Vizient Quality and Accountability Ranking and it has a strong affiliation with the academic medical center at Froedtert Hospital.
Department of Surgery
The Department of Surgery consists of 11 divisions, including 9 clinical divisions, a Division of Education, and a Division of Research, including >100 clinical faculty. Under the leadership of the Chair of Surgery, Douglas B. Evans, MD, the department is committed to clinical excellence, innovative surgical research, academic achievement/professional development, and surgical education. The Division of Trauma/ Acute Care Surgery includes 17 faculty members whose clinical interests encompass Trauma, Emergency General Surgery, and Surgical Critical Care.

- Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Surgery (Board certification/eligible in surgical critical care preferred but not required)
- Eligible for medical licensure in Wisconsin
- Interest in developing an Acute Care Surgery program and growing a community general surgical practice
