Our Urgent Care team at CentraCare Willmar is seeking a full-time (0.75 to 0.80 FTE) Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, able to see all ages from pediatrics through geriatrics) to meet the urgent care needs of our patients at the Willmar Main Clinic in a busy practice setting of high patient volumes.
As an Urgent Care provider, you will independently see patients for same-day, acute care needs such as:

As an Urgent Care provider, you will independently see patients for same-day, acute care needs such as:
- abdominal pain
- acute injury evaluation
- blood clots or leg pain
- broken bones
- cough and cold symptoms
- cuts requiring stitches
- dislocations, sprains and strains
- eye pain and injury
- fast-onset joint and back pain
- fever, dehydration, nausea or vomiting
- headache/migraine
- minor head injury
- minor injuries from motor vehicle collisions
- nosebleed
- pediatric illness and injuries
- respiratory issues including asthma
- strep throat
- skin issues
- urinary tract infection
- Full- time, 12 hour shifts during the weekdays typically 7:30 a.m. – 7:30 p.m. (approximately)
- Weekend rotation, 1:4
- Saturdays and Sundays patient facing hours of 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
- Completion of a formal nurse practitioner or physician assistant program approved by a national accrediting agency
- Certified as a Nurse Practitioner or a Physician Assistant
- Current or pending licensure in the State of Minnesota
- BLS Certification
