The University of Missouri School of Medicine Urological Surgery Division
The Department of Surgery is looking for a dynamic individual to add to our growing Urological Surgery division. This position will work collaboratively with physicians in Urology treating kidney stone patients in a high-volume clinic setting.
Duties include assessing patient symptoms by take a detailed medical history, performing physical examinations, ordering appropriate testing, diagnosing the stone type, recommending treatment options based on the stone size and location, monitoring patient progress, and providing education on lifestyle modifications to prevent future stone formation. Perform clinic procedures i.e. stent removals. Perform surgical evaluations
Participate in educational and training activities to include regular attendance at teaching conferences and seminars.
Participate in research studies and clinical trials will be a component of duties as determined by the establishment of studies and trials.
The candidate should be of high integrity, flexible, collaborative, self-motivated, detail oriented, efficient, and patient-centered.
