In this role, you will have the opportunity to provide comprehensive urology services at Mercy Health Defiance Clinic and Hospital, offering care to a diverse patient population. The clinic is equipped with on-site radiology and laboratory facilities, with telemedicine services available to enhance patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct office visits, consultations, and perform urological procedures and surgeries at Mercy Health Defiance Clinic and Hospital.
- Collaborate with a dedicated care team, including LPNs and RNs, to ensure efficient and high-quality patient care.
- Utilize integrated ancillary services, such as LCSW, Lab and Radiology, CDE, Outpatient Surgical Services, and access to a 23-bed inpatient unit, all located on the same campus.
- Work Monday to Friday, from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, offering a great work-life balance.
- Medical degree (MD or DO) and completion of a Urology residency program.
- Board certification or eligibility in Urology.
- Valid Ohio medical license or the ability to obtain one.
- Strong knowledge and clinical expertise in urological care.
- Proficiency in performing a range of urological procedures and surgeries.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for working with patients and multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to provide patient-centered care and contribute to the overall well-being of the community.
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and telemedicine platforms is a plus.
