The Division of Vascular Surgery and Endovascular Therapy at Loyola University Medical Center (LUMC) is recruiting a BC/BE Vascular Surgeon at the Assistant or Associate Professor level.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing group of academic surgeons.This position is designated for a vascular surgeon with an established research portfolio with existing funding or an intention to pursue funding. Start-up funds commensurate with the research portfolio are available. Areas of focus may include clinical outcomes, translational, informatics, or basic science research. The position will have a 6/8ths appointment at the Edward Hines, Jr. VA Hospital, including dedicated time for research.
The ideal candidate would possess at least 3-5 years of experience, with excellent clinical and a collaborative approach to patient care.
The position includes providing patient care at the Edward Hines, Jr. VA Hospital, which sits adjacent to the LUMC campus. On-call coverage encompasses the VA hospital in addition to LUMC. For weekend call (one weekend every other month), the nearby Loyola Medicine affiliated community medical centers will be included, Gottlieb Memorial Hospital, and MacNeal Hospital.

Requirements:
- M.D. or D.O. degree
- ABS Board Certified or Board Eligible in Vascular Surgery
- 3-5 years of experience preferred
- Eligible for Illinois state licensure
