Job Summary :
We are seeking a highly skilled Commissioning Engineer with a strong background in electrical engineering and experience in data center commissioning. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that electrical systems are installed, tested, and operating efficiently to meet design and operational requirements. This role requires expertise in power distribution systems, generators, UPS systems, switchgear, and associated infrastructure within mission-critical environments.
Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee the commissioning process of electrical systems in data centers to ensure they meet project specifications and industry standards.
- Perform functional and performance testing of electrical infrastructure, including power distribution units (PDU), uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), generators, switchgear, and transformers.
- Develop and execute commissioning plans, test procedures, and reports.
- Work closely with design, construction, and operational teams to identify and resolve issues during the commissioning process.
- Conduct site inspections and system validation to ensure compliance with industry regulations (IEEE, NFPA, NEC, and Uptime Institute standards).
- Troubleshoot and provide technical support for electrical systems and components.
- Document findings and prepare detailed reports outlining any deficiencies and recommended corrective actions.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety and quality control measures.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and project stakeholders to align expectations and deliverables.
- Provide training and technical guidance to facility operations personnel.
