POSITION: Cafe Team Memebr
LOCATION: Encinitas, CA
WHO WE ARE:
- Local family-owned bakery with specialization in traditional sourdough breads using fresh-milled flour and local ingredients.
- We are a small, dynamic team looking to make a difference in the world of grains, baking, and food!
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Gain a deep understanding of our products and our company.
- Maintain retail area and work environment with regards to cleanliness and presentation.
- Carry out opening and closing shifts 9:00 am - 5:30 pm, including money management.
- Day to day sandwich making as needed.
- Clear communication with retail leads and managers.
- Positive attitude and good customer service.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
- Passion for food, traditional sourdough bread, and local organic ingredients.
- A positive attitude and a desire to learn.
- Focused, organized, and detail oriented.
- Able to work in a team environment as well as independently.
- Ability to multitask.
- Previous retail/kitchen experience preferred, but not required.
- Flexibility with scheduling as needed.
- Availability on Saturdays and/or Sundays, and holidays.
