Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain ETL jobs usingIBM DataStage (versions 9.1 - 11.5) to load data into the data warehouse.
- Enhance legacy platforms with scalable and maintainable solutions.
- Design efficient database structures including tables, data types, stored procedures, functions, and more.
- Troubleshoot and resolve SQL Server service outages and performance issues.
- Collaborate with business analysts to understand and meet business requirements.
- Optimize database code for readability, reliability, and performance.
- Advise on best practices for clustering, log shipping, mirroring, replication, and more.
Must-Have Skills & Qualifications:
- 8 years of experienceworking for U.S. companies within the United States.
- 4 years of recent experience at a major bank(since 2017).
- 7 years of experience with IBM DataStage(versions 9.1 - 11.5).
- 5 years of experience with ETL using DataStage.
- Proficient in creating, enhancing, and supporting multiple data pipelines.
- Experience with RDBMS platforms(SQL Server, Oracle, DB2, Vertica) for at least 5 years.
- Strong SQL skills including coding procedures, functions, and triggers.
- Proficient in writing complex mapping, operational scripts, and triggers for data integration.
- 2 years of experience with agile development practices.
- Excellent communication skillswith the ability to clearly discuss development needs and recommended approaches.
