The Prairie Band Construction Inc is seeking a skilled Superintendent to oversee various construction projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning, managing, and executing project activities, ensuring timely and profitable completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain clear communication lines between project managers, clients, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Issue direction to subcontractor/vendor personnel based on contract documents.
- Create and adjust weekly detailed look-ahead schedules as needed.
- Schedule and attend inspections with clients, inspecting authorities, designers, etc.
- Manage and oversee company staff, subcontractors, suppliers, and programs like Safety, Quality, and EEOC.
- Approve and record unit cost information for weekly reports and complete daily reports, logs, and tracking reports.
- Support project closeouts by supervising pre-punch activities and coordinating with the owner, architect, and governing authorities.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
- 5-10 years of construction experience, with at least 5 years as a superintendent or similar role, preferably on federal contracts.
- Experience in utilizing the 3-phase inspection program.
- Demonstrated knowledge and track record of contract compliance in government construction.
- Must have an instructor-signed OSHA 30-hour training card.
- Familiarity with EM 385-1-1 and experience in hazard identification and safety compliance.
- Capable of interpreting a critical path schedule and construction drawings.
- First Aid/CPR/AED certified.
- USACE CQM desired.
