Prairie Band, LLC is seeking a skilled Family Practice Physician to join our team at Naytahwaush Health Center. This full-time opportunity involves providing comprehensive medical care to patients of all ages in an ambulatory setting.
Responsibilities
- Conducting physical examinations and medical assessments
- Diagnosing and treating acute and chronic illnesses
- Prescribing medications and treatments
- Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests
- Providing patient education and counseling on health and wellness
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated care
Requirements
- Completion of a 3-year residency program in a primary care specialty such as Family Practice, Pediatrics or Internal Medicine
- A current, active, full, and unrestricted license or registration from a State, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States
- Board certification in Family Medicine
- Current BLS, Basic Life Support certification
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- Strong diagnostic and clinical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems
