About the Role:
This position requires a Family Practice or Internal Medicine physician with experience in providing medical services to patients of all ages. The ideal candidate will have strong diagnostic and clinical skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting physical examinations and medical assessments
- Diagnosing and treating acute and chronic illnesses
- Prescribing medications and treatments
- Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests
- Providing patient education and counseling on health and wellness
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated care
Requirements:
- Completion of a 3-year residency program in a primary care specialty such as Family Practice, Pediatrics, or Internal Medicine
- Must possess a current, active, full, and unrestricted license or registration from a State, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States
- Must be Board Eligible or Certified, Board certification in Family Medicine
- Must have current BLS, Basic Life Support certification
- Certification of Education - copy of diploma or transcripts
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- Completion of an accredited Family Medicine residency program
- DEA license and eligibility to prescribe medication
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in family practice preferred
