**Job Summary:**
We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Physician to join our team at Beautiful Cass Lake Indian Health Services in Cass Lake, Minnesota.
This is a contract MD opportunity that requires the candidate to have a strong background in emergency medicine and be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Providing immediate medical attention to patients facing acute health issues or trauma in the emergency room.
- Conducting thorough examinations, ordering diagnostic tests, and interpreting results to make accurate diagnoses.
- Working collaboratively with nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure our patients receive comprehensive care.
- Maintaining detailed medical records and documentation of patient interactions and treatments.
**Requirements:**
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
- Board certification or eligibility in Emergency Medicine.
- Valid state medical license to practice in the USA.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification, Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification, - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an emergency room setting.
