Provides efficient, friendly, and professional beverage service to casino guests and beverage servers while working in assigned outlets.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepares and pours drink orders with proper portions and ingredients according to recipe
- Communicates with beverage servers, and presents drinks to guests or servers as required
- Slices and pits fruit as required
- Operates and maintains all equipment and utensils as required in accordance with established guidelines and safety procedures
- Maintains a clean and stocked workstation in accordance with established health and safety guidelines
- Operates a cash register/POS System, ringing proper amount into the register and giving the guest or server the correct change
- Accounts for all cash, charge and non-alcoholic complimentary sales according to established procedure
- Maintains integrity of all financial controls and responsibilities
- Monitors guest consumption of alcohol and intervenes as needed according to guidelines
- Must project professionalism, and a consistently friendly demeanor
- Appears in publicity photos
- Promotes casino events and programs
- Works well with others, especially beverage servers, bartenders, bar helpers, beverage supervisors, and casino supervisors
- Provides personalized service and uses guest name
- Resolve service problems according to guidelines
- Adheres to regulatory, departmental, and company policies in an ethical manner and encourages others to do the same
- Performs the duties of a Coffee Bar Attendant, Barback, Food Server, Beverage Server, Cashier/Host, or Server Assistant as needed in assigned outlets
- Other duties as assigned
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE:
Required
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be 21 years of age
- Must be able to read, write legibly, understand and speak English
- Basic mathematic proficiency
- General knowledge of cocktail ingredients and proper mixing
- Available to work required schedule which may include nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed
- Must meet professional appearance standards as prescribed by Prairie Band Casino & Resort Team Member Handbook
- A record of satisfactory performance and reliability in all prior and current employment
Preferred
- 6 months experience in customer service or related field
PHYSICAL, MENTAL, AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:
- Must be physically mobile with reasonable accommodation
- Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues
- Must be able to reach above and below the shoulder, grip small items (i.e., pens, money, garnishes), bend, and stoop while preparing beverages
