Provide excellent guest service using IGNITE while explaining bingo games, selling packages, making winner pay-outs, and calling bingo numbers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Must be able to deal with high volume customer interactions and be consistently outgoing, upbeat and cheerful
- Build guest relations throughout every session by talking with customers and making them feel welcome, comfortable, and inviting them back
- Observe all activity within assigned area while actively selling bingo product
- Knowledgeable of the various game types available in order to answer questions
- Capable of handling routine customer complaints and incidents and exhibits the appropriate discretion to identify situations that require the attention of supervisory personnel; effort is given to resolve all situations in a manner that maintains positive guest relationships
- Utilize open body language to communicate a willingness to assist
- Maintain monetary and paperwork accuracy and efficiency within department and property standards
- Call bingo numbers, facilitate games, verify payouts, and maintain paperwork
- Assist in maintaining a spotless hall by cleaning and resetting the area as well as disposing of any trash
- Adhere to regulatory, departmental, and company policies in an ethical manner and encourage others to do the same
- Familiar with Title 31 guidelines and understands and utilizes suspicious activity reporting (SAR) when necessary
- Other duties as assigned
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE:
Required
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Demonstrated proficiency in solving basic math equations
- Display professionalism; excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Professional appearance as outlined in the Prairie Band Casino & Resort Team Member Handbook
- Must be able to work both independently and as a member of a team
- A record of satisfactory performance and reliability in all prior and current employment
- Available to work required schedule including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as necessary
Preferred
- One year of direct customer contact experience
- Previous money handling experience
