Job Brief:
We are seeking a results-driven Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to support the alignment of HR and talent strategies with business objectives. This role provides both strategic and tactical HR support while optimizing processes and enhancing the department's effectiveness. Operating within a paper-heavy environment, the HRBP will play a pivotal role in modernizing workflows, enhancing organizational development, and building a strong foundation for future growth and success.
The HRBP will act as a key partner to the HR Director, managing employee relations, developing performance and talent strategies, and supporting key business initiatives. In addition, the role will involve collaboration on organizational design, team building, and employee experience programs, while maintaining a hands-on approach to benefits administration and other day-to-day HR tasks.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:
Experience:
- Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive HR experience, including employee relations, data analysis, and organizational development.
- Proven experience in strategic workforce planning, talent management, and succession planning.
- Experience in leading organizational design, team building, and process improvement initiatives.
- Experience working with payroll and accounting data to support financial and HR initiatives.
- 3-5 years of experience managing and optimizing HRIS platforms with expertise in reporting and data analysis.
- The ideal candidate will have 10 years of HR experience, including 5 years in senior HR leadership roles, with expertise in organizational development, workforce analytics, HR technology, and policy development. Preferred candidates will have experience working in tribal government or enterprise settings, possess SHRM-SCP or equivalent certifications, and demonstrate high-level analytical, strategic, and leadership capabilities.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Systems, Organizational Development, Accounting, or a related field.
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or Tribal HR Professional (THRP) certification preferred.
- Master's degree preferred in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, Information Systems, or a related field.
