The Lead Refuse and Recyclable Material Collector coordinates the waste disposal and recycling collection programs. This position operates a rear-end loader refuse truck to complete assigned disposal routes and operates a truck and trailer to complete recycling routes. This Lead Refuse and Recyclable Material Collector maintains the recycling and composting facilities using both manual and mechanical processes to sort recyclable materials, bale, and load materials, mix and transport compost, and complete general cleaning/housekeeping.
Minimum Requirements:
Experience: Six months to two years of similar or related experience
Education: High school education or state GED. Valid Kansas DL Class B and willing to obtain a Class A within 60 days of hire.
