Role: The primary purpose of this position is to function as a part-time Pharmacy Technician. The Pharmacy Technician - Relief plays a vital role in the efficient operation of the Health Center's pharmacy. This position works under the supervision of a licensed Pharmacist to perform various duties related to medication preparation, inventory management, receiving and sending prescriptions, insurance claims, and customer service.
To qualify for this position, applicants must meet all minimum requirements by the closing date of this announcement.
Minimum Requirements:
Experience: On-the-job-training is available for this position. May not posses any felony convictions and must not be listed on the OIG list of Excluded Individuals.
Education: High School Diploma/GED, Current Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) or willing to obtain within 6 months of hire. Must have a BCLS or willing to obtain within one year of hire.
