As a Caregiver Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing training and assistance to individuals with daily personal cares, medication administration, community activities, money management, meal preparation, laundry assistance, and leisure activities. As a Caregiver Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing training and assistance to individuals with daily personal cares, medication administration, community activities, money management, meal preparation, laundry assistance, and leisure activities. Your responsibilities will include:
- Monitoring and assisting individuals with personal cares.
- Instructing and assisting individuals in food preparation, clean-up, and sanitary practices.
- Encouraging grooming and dressing according to individual preferences, cultural considerations, and social norms.
- Administering medications and treatments once trained.
- Communicating concerns, suggestions, and potential problems to supervisors in an accurate, prompt, and respectful manner.
- Charting daily program information.
- Completing cleaning tasks and assisting individuals served in their cleaning duties.
- You must be at least 17 years old or as dictated by licensure.
- You must pass DHS background clearance.
- You must have a valid driver's license.
- You must be able to read, write, communicate, and understand the English language while conducting company business.
