What are the responsibilities and job description for the Environmental Services - Maintenance for residential homes in Marshall, Redwood Falls and Olivia, MN position at Prairie Community Services?
Essential job responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Communicate with staff in a pleasant, appropriate and courteous manner.
- Communicate concerns and suggestions to Environmental Services Director.
- Maintain up-to-date information on all running logs, checklists, inspections and records.
- Maintain appropriate records of financial expenditures made when on duty including purchase receipts, estimates/bids, order forms, etc.
- Ensure safety of vehicles by completing preventative and corrective maintenance tasks checklists.
- Ensure heating/cooling systems are operating properly and yearly inspections are completed.
- Coordinate, supervise, and follow up on contracted work to ensure quality.
- Identify and prioritize necessary building repairs and remodeling.
- Report and document all safety issues.
- Previous experience in building maintenance and general repair including heating, mechanical, plumbing, electrical and carpentry tasks.
- Must possess the ability to prioritize time and projects, to evaluate cost effectiveness and to take preventative measures.
- Must be willing to attain a Boiler (operator) license, if requested.
- Must have valid driver’s license and meet company’s driving qualifications.
