Lead Carpenter/Foreman

Responsibilities:
- Implement all aspects of construction project and direct the crew available
- Understand construction principles and have the ability to complete with efficiency and accuracy
- Work independently on projects or with crew and subcontractors with full understanding of end product and process to get there while being able to effectively instruct others
- Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients when appropriate
- Maintain a safe, organized and clean worksite
- Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications
- Understanding as to type of work and project timeline requirements
- Communicating questions about job, processes and end product when needed to ensure correctly finished product
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in construction or other related fields; specifically, carpentry, framing, cabinet installation, drywall and siding
- Ability to work with different people in a flexible atmosphere while adhering to quality and safety standards
- Strong leadership qualities
- Ability to stand all day and/or work outside regularly
- Ability to continually lift 100 lbs
- Deadline and detail-oriented

MUST HAVE RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION and be reliable yourself! Job sites vary within a reasonable radius around Sun Prairie. Occasional overnight travel required.'
