Project Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Axiom Developer to join our client's team on a regulatory reporting project for our Global Regulatory System. The project utilizes the Adenza (Axiom SL) product to support regulatory reporting across APAC, EMEA, and NA regions. While the APAC & NA instances have been live for over a year, the current focus is on implementing EMEA regulatory reports within Axiom SL.

Role Overview:

As an Axiom Developer, you will be involved in a series of development activities across various projects in the Axiom space. Your responsibilities will include supporting business-as-usual (BAU) activities such as patch updates and enhancements to support regular filings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop Axiom objects including Data Sources, Data Models, Shorthands, Portfolios, and Aggregations.
• Map and configure free-form and tabular reports, and automate Axiom workflows.
• Work on APAC taxonomy reports (e.g., Singapore, Australia) and EMEA regulatory reporting initiatives.
• Collaborate with business partners and technology teams, providing walkthroughs and ensuring smooth integration.
• Review and understand BRD, FSD, and solution architecture documents with minimal guidance.
• Develop and execute ETL jobs and shell scripting, delivering functionality details in technical specifications.
• Write and review PL/SQL and other DB code to support data sourcing into Axiom.
• Optimize performance within Axiom Controller View and at the database level.
• Prepare and execute detailed unit test cases.
• Migrate Axiom components between environments.
• Provide expertise in regulatory reporting and data warehousing.

Qualifications:

• 8–10 years of experience as a developer in the IT industry.
• 3 years of hands-on development experience with Axiom Controller View.
• Expertise in Axiom regulatory and risk reporting modules, including Prime reports, CCAR, SCCL, FR2052a, etc.
• Strong background with financial and reporting data.
• Proficient in developing and tuning Axiom solutions and database queries.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and collaborate effectively with clients and teams.

Desired Skills:

• Prior experience with US regulatory reports such as FFIEC031, FFIEC041, FFIEC009.
• Experience with Axiom performance tuning and optimization.
• Prior experience with regulatory reporting in APAC and EMEA regions is highly preferred.

Additional Notes:

• This role requires a dedicated Axiom Controller View Developer. Candidates with core Axiom development experience will be prioritized.
