Title - Release Manager
Location - Chicago, IL - downtown
Hybrid model - 3 days/ week onsite
The Release Manager will be responsible for coordinating and executing release management processes across multiple product teams. This role ensures smooth and efficient software releases while maintaining compliance with enterprise standards and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate & Execute: Oversee release management processes across product teams, ensuring alignment with enterprise release standards.
- Manage Dependencies & Risks: Identify, assess, and mitigate release-related risks while managing dependencies across teams.
- Maintain Documentation & Controls: Ensure accurate release documentation and adherence to compliance requirements.
- Drive Release Success: Lead cross-functional collaboration to ensure successful release outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in a Release Management role or performing release management responsibilities.
- Experience in highly regulated industries, preferably financial services.
- Strong knowledge of ITIL Change Management processes.
- Proficiency with Azure DevOps and other release management tools.
- Excellent documentation, organizational, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Technical Expertise & Domain Knowledge
Experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Client Onboarding & Lifecycle Management
- Client account opening and customer onboarding platforms.
- Client lifecycle management systems.
- Customer identity verification and KYC/AML integration solutions.
- Digital Banking & Application Architecture
- Digital banking applications.
- Modern application architecture and Agile delivery methodologies.
- Tools & Compliance
- Azure DevOps, ServiceNow, Confluence.
- CI/CD pipeline experience.
- Understanding of release validation requirements in regulated environments and financial services compliance standards.
Salary : $60 - $70
