Job Title: Regulatory Reporting Consultant (Remote - U.S. Based)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Regulatory Reporting Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and filing of Northern Trust’s regulatory financial filings, ensuring compliance with rules and regulations established by the Federal Reserve, FFIEC, and other regulatory authorities. You will also support international regulatory reporting functions while collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance reporting processes and frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and submit regulatory reports for Northern Trust Corporation and The Northern Trust Company, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Assist with international regulatory reporting functions and ensure all reports meet required guidelines.
- Collaborate with various internal stakeholders to gather and analyze data necessary for regulatory filings.
- Support the transition to a data-centric reporting model by assisting in the development of management reports and analytics.
- Participate in quality control processes to ensure data consistency across reports and schedules, meeting all internal and external requirements.
- Help enhance and maintain internal control frameworks over regulatory reporting to ensure ongoing compliance.
- Contribute to process improvements and data quality enhancements within the regulatory reporting function.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Finance, Accounting, Economics, etc.).
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in financial services or a related industry, focusing on financial or regulatory reporting, compliance, financial analysis, or a similar field.
- Deep understanding of financial and regulatory reporting rules and regulations.
- Proficiency in working with large datasets and generating insightful reports/analytics.
- Experience in designing and improving internal control environments to ensure data quality and process efficiencies.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage effectively with internal stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Experience in preparing and submitting regulatory reports is a plus.
