Job Title: IT Systems Analyst (ERP)
Systems Analyst (ERP) to work for manufacturing company in Aurora, IL.
IT Systems Analyst will lead the upgrade and potential replacement of the current ERP system. This role will require strong technical expertise, particularly in ERP systems for manufacturing, data analysis, and Power BI development.
IT Systems Analyst (ERP) - Key Responsibilities:
ERP Implementation & Administration:
- Lead the upgrade and administration of the ERP system, leveraging consultants as needed.
- Ensure proper permissions and controls are in place, cleaning up junk data, and implementing processes to prevent future data proliferation.
- Create and optimize processes for key module usage to ensure system integrity.
Data Analysis & Power BI Development:
- Design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, and visualizations.
- Build data models that integrate with multiple data sources.
- Utilize SQL and data manipulation tools to transform, validate, and analyze data.
User Technical Support & Training:
- Oversee an outside Managed Service Provider (MSP) to provide technical support for internal teams (software, hardware, and system issues).
- Train teammates on proper ERP system usage and Power BI functionalities, including report creation, filtering, and navigation.
Systems Analyst (ERP) - Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in a similar role, with strong expertise in ERP systems, Power BI development, and data analysis.
- Experience with Oracle-based ERP systems is a major plus.
- Proficiency in Power BI, including Power Query, data modeling, and dashboard/report creation.
- Solid SQL and database management skills.
- Experience managing consultants and MSPs within budget constraints.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
