Under the general supervision of the Deputy Warden and general direction of the Warden’s Office, the Corrections Security Director position is responsible for the treatment, security, and general living conditions of all inmates assigned to the entire institution, generally and Restrictive Status Housing specifically. The Corrections Security Director is an administrator responsible for all activities within the Restrictive Status Housing unit and the development, implementation, and monitoring of overall security, goals, policies, and procedures of the institution. This manager is responsible for the security program for areas of the institution including control, center armory, perimeter, program areas, visiting, reception, security training, mail, and property. Additionally, this position directs an institution and department-wide program; this includes high-risk escape inmates and a complex step Restrictive Status Housing program for inmates.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $53.28 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
