Child Care Educator

The Prairie Farm School District is accepting applications for a full-time teacher assistant at Prairie Farm CubCare.

Must be compassionate, energetic, well organized, reliable, team player, and work well with children of all ages.

This position includes health insurance, holiday pay, vacation and sick time. Work hours would be 9:30-6:00 or different hours could be discussed.

Summary

As a Child Care Teacher, you will be responsible for fostering a nurturing and educational environment for young children, focusing on their early development and learning. Reporting to the Lead Educator, you will utilize your core skills in childcare, teaching, and classroom management to create engaging activities that promote growth and development.

Responsibilities

• Develop and/or implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote early childhood education and development.
• Supervise and engage children in daily activities, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.
• Provide individualized care and attention to infants and toddlers, fostering their emotional and physical growth.
• Collaborate with parents and caregivers to discuss children's progress and any concerns.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.50 - $18.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
