What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bench Technician position at Prairie Fire Coffee?
As part of our Service Department, the PrairieFire Bench Technician has a major impact on our customers and the relationship we maintain with them. The right person will be a mechanically inclined, safety-conscious individual with basic understanding in the principles of equipment repair to effectively maintain, repair and re-program assorted coffee and tea equipment.

Responsibilities:
- Service and repair of beverage (coffee and tea) equipment
- Preventive maintenance of brewing machines and other equipment
- Internal and external Customer Service
- Conduct self in a positive and cooperative manner, and communicate in an open and positive way with both customers and coworkers
- Maintaining a clean and organized service area
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Coffee machine repair and refurbishment experience preferred
- Mechanical/technical skills; plumbing, electrical, and HVAC experience highly desired
- 1-2 years' experience as a machine maintenance/repair technician
- Self-motivated and the ability to work independently
- Team player with exceptional customer service skills
- Must be able to successfully pass pre-employment screenings such as a Drug Screen
- Must be able to lift/ push/ pull 75 lbs. unassisted on a repetitive basis
Salary : $18 - $21
