SUMMARY
The EVS Attendant is responsible for attending to the cleaning needs of assigned areas of the property.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Cleans restrooms, including trash bins, toilets, mirrors, counters, sinks, floors, and other items needing attention. Replace toilet paper and paper towels as necessary.
- Dusts, sweeps, mops, scrubs, vacuums, and cleans assigned areas. Uses floor care equipment, such as carpet cleaners, scrubbers, and buffers to maintain floors.
- Wipes down slot machines, chairs, and chair bases.
- Empties wastebaskets. Empties and cleans ashtrays.
- Cleans windows, gaming dividers, door handles, and other frequently touched items.
- Transports trash and dirty linens to designated areas.
- Re-stocks paper supplies, chemical supplies in bottles, and maintains restroom supplies.
- Stocks and maintains housekeeping storage rooms.
- May be responsible for maintaining the appropriate supply of cleaning rags including washing and drying laundry using industrial equipment.
- Works at a quick pace and prioritizes tasks according to importance.
- Responds to guests in a friendly and responsive manner. Assists guests and refers them to the proper Team Member for further assistance.
- Properly reports lost and found items to Security staff.
- Responsible for the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Responsible for proper cleanup and disposal of biohazardous waste while following all proper procedures on disposal of such waste.
- Adheres to performance standards, company policies and procedures, as they relate to the department.
- Responsible for maintaining a consistent, regular attendance record.
- Responsible for maintaining compliance with appearance standards.
- Interacts with guests and team members in a positive, professional manner.
- Refers common inquiries from guests to the appropriate staff and assists with simple questions.
- Follow all safety standards and reports any safety hazards immediately to necessary people to correct issue. Follows and understands National Fire Protection standards and SDS policy and procedures.
- Supports actions and directions of leadership team.
- Must be able to work the required work schedule, which may include nights, weekends, and holidays. Works physically onsite to manage business and interact personally with Team Members, vendors and guests.
