Job Summary :
The Morning Care Monitor is responsible for supervising and ensuring the safety of students who arrive early to school. This individual will create a welcoming and structured environment, monitor student behavior, and enforce school policies before the start of the academic day.
Specific Functions :
- Supervise students in designated areas before the school day begins.
- Ensure a safe and orderly environment by enforcing school rules and expectations.
- Engage with students in a positive and supportive manner.
- Assist in resolving minor conflicts and refer disciplinary issues to appropriate school staff.
- Communicate effectively with school administration, teachers, and parents as needed.
- Maintain an organized and structured setting for students during the morning period.
- Respond to emergencies and follow school protocols for safety and security.
- Assist with transitions to classrooms at the start of the school day.
