Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing quality assurance and regulatory compliancy within a health care organization. This position involves monitoring policies, procedures and regulatory updates, employee training & licensing requirements, as well as infection control measures to support and enhance staff and customer satisfaction measures.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with Management Team to establish Quality Plans & Goals.
- Monitor Quality Measures and provide monthly reports to CEO and Management Team.
- Monitor and update policies, procedures, and regulatory updates.
- Monitor and report on Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (CAHPS) surveys.
- Work with Clinical Director and Management Team to establish annual training plan that meets licensing requirements while providing opportunities for employees to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Work with Clinical Director to ensure that infection control policies and procedures are following at all facilities and by employees.
- Oversee the Emergency Management Program by reviewing and updating annually and that all staff understand their role in these programs.
- Manage the upkeep and preventative maintenance of all fire and sprinkler systems, emergency lights, call lights, fire extinguishers, smoke & carbon monoxide detectors, and battery backups, etc.
- Coordinate full-scale and training exercises for all facilities.
- Work closely with Management Team to develop and implement Emergency Plans.
- Assist with regular imaging of clinical documentation.
- Ensure compliance with all OSHA standards and requirements.
Skills
- Proficient in research data collection methods and analysis techniques.
- Strong understanding of quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC) principles.
- Familiarity with Health Care Regulations, Infection Control, and Emergency Management Programs.
- Superb Time Management skills with a strong emphasis on punctuality.
- Ability to exemplify a high level of unwavering confidentiality and understanding of the HIPAA laws.
- Good Project Management skills.
- Strong Microsoft Office software experience, especially Excel.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
