This part time(0.5 status) position will perform in assisting professional nursing staff and Emergency Physicians by performing direct and indirect patient care as delegated by the RN or Physician.
Responsibilities include:
- Provides direct and indirect care to patients.
- Performs secretarial duties: answering phones, placing calls, order entry, logging patient information, and obtaining old records.
- Assists with cleaning patient treatment areas.
- Restocks and orders supplies for patient treatment areas, kitchenettes, nursing station, and supply carts.
- Cleans instruments and utensils and delivers to sterile processing department.
- Observes and reports changes in patient's physical and emotional condition.
- Transports patients to appropriate areas.
- Keeps patient treatment areas, kitchenette, storage areas, and nursing station in order.
- Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications
High school or equivalent.
Strong interpersonal skills are necessary.
Must be adept at communicating from age neonate through geriatric years of age.
Knowledge of medical terminology required.
