POSITION SUMMARY
Plans, organizes, develops, coordinates, and directs the operations of Prairie Lakes Brown Clinic in accordance with federal, state, and accrediting body standards, guidelines, and regulations. This position is responsible for the coordination of operational functions of the business through administrative, clinical, and ancillary staff to ensure the maximum utilization of resources and the efficient delivery of services. Works collaboratively with clinic leaders to develop, implement, and maintain clinical standards of care for the primary care clinic.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Plans, organizes, directs, and evaluates clinic policies, procedures, and departmental activities.
Supervises clinic staff to ensure that all receive orientation and continuing education relative to their specific job responsibilities and provides ongoing professional growth and development opportunities.
Facilitates the effective coordination and integration of interdepartmental and intradepartmental services to maintain an optimum level of patient care.
Maintains compliance with the requirements of regulatory agencies.
Develops and monitors capital and general operating budgets. Assures cost-effectiveness of expenditures, monitors productivity, and effective utilization of staff.
Coordinates the purchasing and inventory of department supplies and equipment and assures cost-effective usage of supplies.
Assures that the area is appropriately staffed and monitors workload to effectively utilize staff to maximize productivity and quality levels.
Works collaboratively with clinic leaders to develop, implement, and maintain clinical standards of care for all specialty clinics.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Nursing, or related field preferred.
Three (3) years of progressively responsible clinical experience.
Clinic experience preferred.
Management experience preferred.
Mandatory Basic and Advanced Life Support Training per policy
Computer Skills
Microsoft Office applications eCW, and CPSI.
Will participate in ongoing education and maintenance of electronic health record software.
