Prairie Landworks Inc. (PLI) in McPherson, Kan., is seeking an experienced chemical technicican with two or more years of experience with turf &/or tree applications with a commercial company (fertilizer and weed control). Must have or be able to acquire Kansas Commercial Pesticide Certification categories 3A, 3B, and 6. Experience with Z-Sprayer, tank sprayers and Toro 1250 sprayer are a plus. Position will perform other lawncare and landscape work when not applying chemicals. Full time position. Starting salary is $18-25 per hour based on verifiable experience. $18/hr for those with a minimum of applicator experience, up to $25/hr for those with a minimum 5 years experience and holds a KS pesticide license in stated categories. Benefits include health and dental insurance with company contributing 60% on base level coverage, vision insurance, 401k with a 4% company match, 80 hours per year of paid time off (PTO), seven paid holidays, plus other benefits.
