Here’s what you’d be responsible for:
- Perform journeyman level electrical work in the construction, alteration, and repair of both fixed and moveable electrical systems and other related company property.
- Conduct preventative maintenance and repairs on electrical equipment from low-voltage electronics to high-voltage commercial machinery.
- Install, maintain, and repair interior and exterior lighting, power supplies, electrical systems, apparatus and electrical components of machinery and equipment while following electrical codes, manuals, schematic diagrams, blueprints, and other specifications.
- Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures based on job specifications and applicable codes.

Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent with technical or specialized training in the electrical field. State of Iowa Journeyman or Master Electrical License required. Must have a valid driver’s license, safe driving record, and meet company insurance requirements. Must have an excellent understanding of electrical work, able to read blueprints and diagrams, be detail-oriented, and have the ability to communicate and interact verbally and in writing with people of diverse backgrounds. Some work will be from ladders and scaffolding. Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
