Qualifications

- Possess computer knowledge that includes but is not limited to MS Office Suite with the ability to learn new software
Job Functions
Logistics:
- Oversee all receiving and delivery operations, identifying issues and implementing improvements to maximize productivity and efficiency
- Manage inventory received & delivered in Tektrack system, performing weekly location audits to correct errors and ensure accurate reporting. Work with project managers and foremen to research and correct issues
- Manage delivery drivers, providing training and coaching on material/equipment handling, loading/unloading, safety best practices and assigning tasks during non-delivery hours
- Manage delivery schedule, coordinating with project managers, superintendents, and foremen to ensure timely and accurate deliveries of equipment, tools, and consumable materials to jobsites
- Oversee consumable materials and Fastenal vending machine inventory levels
- Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of warehouse facility, fabrication facilities, outdoor storage area, and offsite warehouse
Tool & Equipment Management:
- Develops, implements, and continuously drives improvements of tool tracking process
- Manages tool inventory and oversees semi-annual tool audits; works with management to reduce/minimize tool costs
- Facilitates moving of tools and equipment from job to job to maximize efficiency and reduce unnecessary tool purchasing
- Checks tools in/out after job start/completion, when employees turnover, and when tools need repaired/replaced
- Performs preventative maintenance and inspections on large equipment (forklifts, scissor lifts, etc.) as needed
- Trains and certifies field labor on aerial lifts, forklifts, and other heavy machinery as needed
Fleet Management:
- Oversees delivery trucks, scheduling routine maintenance and ensuring DOT compliance and inspection requirements are met
- Manages the check-out process of spare vehicles for fleet vehicles receiving repairs
Preferred Certificates/Licenses/Education
- A bachelor’s degree or 5 years of applicable work-related experience
- OSHA 10 or 30-hour certification
- Fork-lift certification
