Activity Aide Part-Time

Create and maintain an atmosphere of warmth, personal interest, and positive emphasis, as well as a calm environment throughout the facility. Must be physically and mentally capable of performing routine job duties.
Responsibilities:
- Provide interactive and enjoyable activities for our residents
- Assist in planning, developing, organizing programs and events
- Play games and make crafts with mobile residents
- Visit bed residents on a one-to-one basis
- Participate in resident assessment and discharge planning
- 3 days each week 12pm-8pm, alternating weekends
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- Must have basic computer skills
- Positive, energetic and engaging demeanor
- High level of confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA standards
- Must have compassion, tolerance and understanding for older adult.
