Evening & Weekend Dog Walker/Pet Sitter *Part-Time

Are you an animal lover looking some extra income doing something you LOVE? We are hiring part-time dog walkers and pet sitters! Please only apply if you are interested in being a part of our team for at least a year. MONDAY-FRIDAY evenings and OPEN weekend availability required. However, you will NOT be booked for the entirety of this required availability. Our after-hours schedule is based off of the needs of our pet-sitting clients, so some weeks will be busier than others. We totally understand having weekend plans, and can be flexible for the right person!

We are an established and growing pet care business located in Chicago's western and northwestern suburbs and Nashville, TN. Our bones and bacon is providing daily exercise, play and love for dogs from the comfort of their own home (they got it good, don’t they?). We also provide pet sitting and overnight services for most types of domestic animals including dogs, cats, birds and more.

THE BASICS

POSITION REQUIREMENTS (what you’ll need to bring to the leash)

ITS A PHYSICAL JOB, YOU MUST BE ABLE TO:

- HANDLE DOG(S) 125 LBS PLUS and should be able to handle strong dogs. We won’t ever make you walk a dog you aren’t comfortable with.

- lift 50lb or more

- bend, twist and bend over to pick up after pets. (most of us can’t touch our toes if that helps at all)

- LOVE and enjoy spending time with animals. We hope this doesn’t come as a surprise!

WE LOOK FOR PEOPLE WHO:

- LIVE IN OR WITHIN 15 MINUTES OF OUR SERVICE AREA.

- Have an attentive nature. Must be able to be in tune with your surroundings.

- Understand the importance of good customer relations.

- Are comfortable working outside in all weather conditions.

THE MUSTS:

- Must hold a reliable, insured vehicle and valid driver's license.

- Must have a working smartphone and internet access. (required for our appointment management and gps tracking app)

- Must be 18 years of age or older

- Must provide your Driving Record
