Insurance Claims Examiner - 1.0 FTE

Prairie Ridge Health is a leading healthcare provider seeking a dedicated Biller and Insurance Specialist to join our Business Services Department. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring accurate and timely billing and claims submissions for our patients, health plans, and payers.

Your primary responsibilities will include interacting with payers regarding claims filings, follow-up, appeals, and re-submissions. You will also oversee all aspects of electronic and paper claims submissions and self-pay billings, ensuring compliance with federal guidelines and contractual agreements.

As a key member of our team, you will analyze insurance credit balances and provide accurate and timely refunding to appropriate parties.
