What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cage Cashier position at PRAIRIE'S EDGE CASINO RESORT?
POSITION SUMMARY
To exchange cash, coin, chips, tito's, checks and tokens with guests and employees.
Hiring for Full Time Evening hours. The shifts will include weekends and holidays.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Receive payment by cash, check, credit cards, vouchers, or automatic debits.
- Issue receipts, refunds, credits, or change due to customers.
- Assist customers by providing information and resolving their complaints.
- Answer customers' questions, and provide information on procedures or policies.
- Maintain clean and orderly cage and vault areas and complete other general cleaning duties, such as picking up trash or clutter and disposing of it.
- Count money in cash drawers at the beginning of shifts to ensure that amounts are correct and that there is adequate change. Safeguard assigned bankroll - responsible for bank until end of shift.
- Sort, count, and wrap currency and coins.
- Compute and record totals of transactions at end of shift.
- Cash checks for customers and employees.
- Exchange cash, coin, chips, tito's, checks and tokens with guests and employees.
- Follow all policies and procedures in the Cage/Vault Department Manual as they pertain to the Cage Cashier position, and Prairie's Edge Casino Resort Employee Handbook.
