Prairie's Edge Casino Resort is currently recruiting for a Bartender to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional beverage service to our guests.
About the Role:
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work well under pressure. They will also be able to maintain a safe and clean environment for our guests.
Responsibilities:
- Picking up money banks and verifying cash with the Cage/Vault department at the beginning of each shift.
- Ensuring knowledge of all promotions and menu items.
- Collecting money for drinks served and verifying customers' age requirements for alcohol purchases.
- Cleaning glasses, utensils, and bar equipment.
- balancing cash receipts.
- Taking steps to limit excessive drinking by persuading customers to stop drinking or ordering taxis for intoxicated patrons.
- Stocking beer, wine, liquor, and supplies like ice, glassware, and straws.
- Cleaning bars, work areas, and tables.
- Serving snacks or food to seated customers.
- Following Casino and department policies and procedures.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- A high school graduate or general education degree (GED) required.
- No prior experience necessary, but basic computer skills and understanding required.
- Proficient in MICROS software.
