POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for the floor coverage in the restaurant and assisting the serving staff in the restaurant, lounge and in-room dining service. This individual will support the Food and Beverage management team in supervising outlets, ensuring our guests receive the ultimate dining experience. This position is primarily responsible for supervising servers engaged in serving food, and in maintaining cleanliness of food service areas and equipment. This position is also responsible for supervising and coordinating activities of the dining room personnel to provide fast and courteous service to patrons.
Hiring for Full Time shifts will include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
•Train workers in food preparation, and in service, sanitation, and safety procedures.
•Perform various financial activities, such as cash handling, deposit preparation, and payroll.
•Supervise and participate in kitchen and dining area cleaning activities.
•Resolve customer complaints regarding food service.
•Observe and evaluate workers and work procedures to ensure quality standards and service, and complete disciplinary write-ups.
•Assign duties, responsibilities, and work stations to employees in accordance with work requirements.
•Recommend measures for improving work procedures and worker performance to increase service quality and enhance job safety.
•Greet and seat guests, and present menus.
•Present bills and accept payments.
•Follow Casino and department policies and procedures, including all safety and service procedures; adhere to the Prairie's Edge Chain of Command.
•Support the Vision and Mission Statement's of Prairie's Edge Casino Resort.
•All other duties as assigned.
